Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s 2nd annual Continuous Learning Islanders Made Better (CLIMB) conference will be held virtually starting Tuesday, April 27th - Thursday, April 29th, 2021. The theme this year, "Service Excellence Amidst Adversity," highlights our collective campus resilience as we renew our efforts to expand professional development and engagement across the Islander community.

The CLIMB event will have several sessions that focus on the following:

A focus on wellness & mindfulness is essential and this track will introduce skills in emotional intelligence, stress management and how to conquer stress, be effective as you approach your days with energy, and mental fitness.

A collaborative approach to understanding benefits and services available to you is at the core of this track. Vendor partners will go into detail about benefit options and opportunities. Learn about money saving tips and good financial habits.  Attend sessions that explore some of your benefits and vendor partnerships.

 

The CLIMB event will have several sessions that focus on the following:

Sessions will specifically introduce topics to refine and further develop your professional skills. Options include fundraising, mindfulness, Effective Evidence Based Teaching Practices to Promote Student Success supervision success, History of Human Subject Protections in Research, procurement best practices and more.
